The Visual Computing Institute (VCI) is part of the Department of Computer Science at RWTH Aachen University and brings together research groups working on the generation, processing, analysis, and visualization of visual and geometric data. Within VCI, the Graphics, Geometry & Multimedia group led by Prof. Leif Kobbelt conducts research in geometry processing and computer graphics, with a long-standing focus on geometric representations for data-driven analysis and synthesis of 3D models.
