AI-Powered Agent for Semantic Discovery of Legal Precedents
LexAI addresses a significant challenge in the European legal sector: efficiently identifying relevant legal precedents across multiple languages and jurisdictions. Legal professionals and SMEs often struggle to find relevant case law within large and fragmented legal repositories, such as EUR-Lex, Curia, and national court databases. High subscription costs for legal research tools, language barriers, and the limited availability of semantic search capabilities make legal research time-consuming, expensive, and potentially prone to errors. LexAI has already developed a prototype that has been validated by a German legal SME as a promising product with strong short-term market potential. Through this experiment, the company aims to acquire the HPC expertise and computational resources needed to scale the solution and develop advanced multilingual Large Language Models (LLMs) capable of supporting cross-border legal research and analysis. The broader opportunity is substantial: the global legal technology market is expected to exceed €35 billion by 2027, with growing demand across Europe for multilingual compliance solutions, AI-powered legal analytics, and intelligent legal research tools.
