Envisioning Advanced Systems in Water Analysis
EASY Water addresses the growing need for reliable, high-frequency monitoring of micropollutants in wastewater. EASY Photonics is developing a multimodal optical sensing platform that combines several complementary photonic techniques, including absorption, fluorescence, scattering, Raman spectroscopy, and Excitation-Emission Matrix (EEM) measurements, to provide a comprehensive picture of water quality.
The FFplus business experiment focuses on developing the computational backbone required to transform this advanced sensing hardware into an operational solution for real-world applications. EASY Photonics will generate reproducible datasets using both environmental water samples and controlled concentration series containing known pollutants. JSC will support the development of HPC-enabled AI workflows for data correction, model training, sensor data fusion, benchmarking, and uncertainty analysis. Innowise will implement robust device-side preprocessing, data packaging, and a prototype Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integration layer. The ultimate goal is to create an integrated workflow that converts complex multi-sensor measurements into validated, compliance-ready information, enabling municipal and industrial wastewater operators to monitor water quality more efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively.
