Schema-Bound Generative AI for Policy-Compliant e-Invoice Booking Proposals

Short description of the innovation study

An electronic invoice is already digital, but deciding how to record it still takes time and expertise. eBookAI aims to make eInvoice posting faster and more consistent. BASS will develop and evaluate a specialised generative AI model using European high-performance computing (EuroHPC). The model will combine invoice details with company accounting policies and relevant booking history to suggest accounts, cost allocations and VAT codes. Training will use synthetic data, with performance evaluated on real invoices in a controlled environment. Proposed entries will include explanations, and uncertain cases will be flagged for review. The goal is to reduce repetitive work and corrections, giving accountants more time for complex cases while keeping them in control of every posting.
