The FF4EuroHPC and FFplus projects were introduced at the ASHPC24 Conference
The 10th ASHPC24 Conference was held from June 10-13 in Grundlsee, Austria and brought together scientists, industry and technicians with a background and interest in #supercomputing.
The FF4EuroHPC project, which concluded in October 2023, delivered 42 impressive success stories, showcasing the significant impact of HPC and AI across various industrial sectors.
The renowned Fortissimo project was highlighted during the speech titled: Business innovation: HPC as an opportunity for SMEs as exemplary initiatives that support SMEs with funding for innovation. Continuing this mission, the FFplus project will soon launch its first open call for SMEs and startups, providing valuable opportunities for further innovation.
FFplus is not only a fantastic initiative but also a helpful resource for National Competence Centers (NCCs), which serve as main contact points to support SMEs and startups on their journey toward innovation.
Tina Črnigoj Marc, project leader at Arctur and #FFplus Communication Lead delivered an insightful presentation of both projects also during the pitch: FF4EuroHPC: SME Innovation Through HPC and provided valuable information during the poster session.
Additionally, FF4EuroHPC success story booklets were distributed to visitors, sparking interest in HPC and inspiring them to take on new challenges.
