HPC Industry Summit: Livestreaming Day 2
The New FFplus Visual Identity was Introduced and the Project Website Has Been Launched!
The Fortissimo projects have been running since 2013 and are well-recognized in the European HPC ecosystem. To maintain a cohesive visual identity while differentiating it from previous editions (Fortissimo 1 and 2, FF4EuroHPC), a new visual identity was designed for the FFplus project. The signature Fortissimo blue color scheme has been retained, and the FF abbreviation has been integrated into the new project logo. This time, the leading image takes inspiration from nature: mountains symbolize the challenges SMEs and startups face during their innovation process, while network lines represent the connection to partners and technology that will support them on their path towards innovation.
The FFplus website will provide comprehensive information about the project and its activities, details on open calls, news items, and upcoming HPC & AI-related events. Additionally, once the first experiments are executed, information about these experiments and their partners will be made available. When the first tranche of success stories is ready, the results will also be published on the website.
To effectively promote the use and benefits of HPC and generative AI specifically to SMEs and startups, a subpage titled "HPC 4 SME" was developed. This subpage provides information on what HPC is, how to receive support from National Competence Centers (NCCs), details about LLM development, the role of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), success stories from past Fortissimo projects, and the HPC4SME AAT Tool, which helps SMEs determine their readiness to embrace HPC.
FFplus is a European initiative focused on the adoption of High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) by SMEs and startups across Europe, demonstrating the business benefits and impacts of integrating HPC and AI into real business models.
The new visual identity will help make the project visible and recognizable within the community. It has also been implemented across FFplus social media platforms, including X, LinkedIn, and YouTube, and will be used in all communication and dissemination materials.
